The Flock Flies Again!


Trade your opera glasses for binoculars at Bird Songs of Opera, an outdoor recital that reimagines iconic opera arias as the songs of Oregon birds accompanied by accordion! This summer, the Flock will migrate to three fabulous venues around the Portland Metro Area, each with a different flair!

June 14 & 15 - Stroll the trails of the beautiful Leach Botanical Garden, keeping your ears open for strains of Mozart, Offenbach and Donizetti and your eyes peeled for flashes of glamorous plumage. This production is a delight for bird watchers and opera lovers of all ages. Tickets $20-80

June 24 - THIS EVENT IS AT CAPACITY - Pack a picnic and bring the family to the beautiful lawn of Camp Rivendale at the Jenkins Estate in Beaverton. Camp Rivendale is 100% ADA accessible. Come at 6:30 to participate in the fun and educational stations hosted by the Tualatin Hills Nature Center and stay for the show and photo op with the birds after! FREE (registration required) Refer to this map for parking info.

June 27 - Join us for a unique, themed opera recital, set against the stunning backdrop of the Raptor Ridge vineyard. Opera divas portray native birds of the Pacific Northwest, dressed in bespoke gowns inspired by avian plumage.  Enjoy an evening of captivating opera with playful twists, dramatic costumes with colorful accents, and a perfectly paired wine flight included with your ticket.
