About

Support Renegade Opera's 2023 season and enjoy an evening of performances, local silent auction items, and refreshments! The theme of our fundraiser, Reduce, Reuse, Renegala, mirrors the theme of our season and encourages us all to rethink how we live in harmony with Mother Earth. Guests will be rewarded for arriving using sustainable transport, dressing in their finest sustainable fashions, and partaking in our sustainably sourced goodies! Our hosts for the evening, Saint Syndrome and Nicole Onoscopi will be serving up fantastic live music and the Renegade team will join them to present some "recycled" arias that are usually sung by other voice types! Don't miss your chance to support Renegade Opera and experience a truly unique evening of music making and fun!

Meet the hosts of Renegala!

Saint Syndrome is the lowest bass with the smallest waist, and the Pacific Northwest’s ONLY piano queen! After years of classical training, Saint Syndrome fled the music conservatory for the speak-easy where she’s been delighting audiences ever since. Originally pursuing classical piano, he made his debut with the Oregon Symphony at age 17 and went on to receive two prizes in the Seattle International Piano Competition and his Bachelor of Music in classical piano. After discovering drag, her repertoire expanded to include musical theater, comedy, jazz classics, quirky covers, and original songs. She’s known for her campy humor and vintage class. Saint Syndrome has opened for and collaborated with such legendary performers as Latrice Royale, Alyssa Edwards, Jinkx Monsoon, Sharon Needles, Plastique Tiara, Cameron Michaels, Roxxxy Andrews, Axel Andrews, Darcelle XV, and many more. Appearing all around Oregon, she was the first drag performer ever to be featured at Dante's longest running burlesque show, "Sinferno," and the only solo drag queen to grace the stage at the historic Star Theater. Saint performs weekly in "The Queen's Keys," with Nicole Onosopi at CC Slaughters, and her ever-changing monthly show, “Saintly Sundays with Saint Syndrome,” has drawn crowds every first Sunday since 2017. With the magic of modern technology, "Saintly Sundays" is available as a free live-stream on Facebook Live and Twitch.tv/SaintSyndrome where her music regularly reached over 2,000 viewers across the globe during the COVID pandemic.

The lively, lovely, unlicensed gastroenterologist Nicole Onoscopi was raised in Albany, Oregon but discovered the art of drag five years ago while working as an actor in New York City . In 2020, Nicole came back home to Oregon and just recently moved to Portland with her fiancé, KOIN 6 meteorologist Josh Cozart. A former Miss Gay Oregon, Nicole now reigns as the current Miss Northwest Fierce. Nicole is known for her live vocals and exuberant energy which she brings to her popular drag brunches and bingos throughout Portland and beyond! You can keep up with all of her adventures and find her show schedule on all social media at @nicoleonoscopi
